Why Pane? Our friend name is Brad and we met him in Italy when he and his mother Charlene took a cooking tour with Bluone, our parents business, in Le Marche. Our father Marcello was always wrong pronouncing his name and called him "bread" instead, that in Italian means "pane". Since then Brad became Pane for Marcello, Charlene and all of us!!!
Pane lives in LA and when he found out we were coming here he organized for us a class and dinner with his friends. His neighbor Erica, who has a house with a large beautiful kitchen, who so kind to host the class. It was an unusual class, not really hands-on, as our students were a little lazy!!! Rick (in the picture), instead, wanted to learn and try how to make tortelloni and he was great!!
