Our days in San Francisco were all busy with the classes but we had to find at least a little time to visit the city and stroll there like a tourist! I was in SF in 2010 and loved it while this was Tommy's first time there...we had to take this opportunity!
We visited the city for few hours in a morning, we went to the Ferry Building, visited the market and strolled along the embarcadero. Then we walked up to the Coit Tower and went down to North Beach, the Italian neighborhood also called "Little Italy"...missing Italy?! Maybe..but we were a little disappointed about it.
As Italians, we know what means authentic and we could see that mostly of the bars and restaurants were not really authentic Italians. There we had one of the worst lunches of our whole trip!! For sure you need to know where you are going if you want to have a good meal. Despite this, our short time in the city was fantastic, also the weather that morning was amazing and we enjoyed every minute of it!
